The use of geometallurgical modelling is becoming common in the design a concentrator plant and during its operational phase. Predictive aims to define optimized process parameters for accommodate variability ore feed characteristics. main objective this study simulate metallurgical response distinct unit types their blends using kinetic models derived from experimental flotation tests. Kinetic tests, including both rougher cleaner, were applied on four containing different ratios chalcopyrite, chalcocite copper oxide minerals Rich Metal Group’s Madneuli copper–gold mine, Georgia. performance complex ores Madnueli XI V differs each other significatively due mineralogical distribution sulphides oxides. blend units various affects efficiency by decrementing recovery mass pull oxide-sulphate V. HSC Chemistry® software was used blended based mineral compositions ores, Klimpel rectangular model flowsheet model. Simulated results grade, concentrate correlated well with R2 values over 0.95. These demonstrate that can be simulated kinetics types. predictive simulation create savings test work phase increase flexibility certainty stage.
